THE
TRIP

PROGRAM & PROJECTS.

With Nautic Horizons, you typically participate in a unique six-month Atlantic voyage , with intensive sailing, learning on board, and land projects with direct cultural exchange.

We also offer a three-month model for a small contingent of a maximum of five places.
However, most students will experience the entire six-month journey.

The route is always flexibly adapted to wind and weather conditions, giving each year's trip its own unique character. Our goal: to travel under sail as much as possible to protect the environment and gain genuine seafaring experience.

Project period:
October to April – start and arrival in Amsterdam.

On your journey, you can expect around ten special land projects that will enrich the adventure and offer diverse experiences – from nature and cultural projects to social engagement and personal development.

These experiences offer you not only exciting adventures, but also the chance to grow as a person and see the world from a new perspective.

PLACES & LANDPROJECTS

This itinerary is based on experience from past trips and serves as a general guide. Since the route is heavily dependent on weather and wind conditions, there may be deviations in the schedule and destinations. Safety and the best possible travel experience are our top priorities, therefore adjustments are always possible.

Our locations and rural projects offer students the opportunity to experience foreign cultures intensively, to live with locals, and to actively participate in sustainable projects. In this way, they learn through direct experience and intercultural exchange.

The exact route will be flexibly adapted to the prevailing wind and weather conditions. Here are some impressions:
