Purpose of the Foundation
The Nautic Horizons Education Foundation was established to make holistic education at sea accessible to young people – regardless of their financial background.
It manages donations and sponsorship funds transparently, offers tax-recognized donation options for supporters, and helps more students participate in this unique educational voyage.
The main objectives of the foundation are to:
-
create learning and life experiences for young people (ages 14–17) through sailing and intercultural projects,
-
foster character development, team spirit and personal growth,
-
connect academic education with hands-on learning at sea,
-
contribute to a modern, values-based approach to education through partnerships with schools, social institutions and educational organizations.
The foundation operates on a non-profit basis and pursues exclusively charitable and educational purposes.
All funds are fully used to achieve its stated goals.
